What it is:
The Euclid Contest is a mathematics competition organized by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) at the University of Waterloo. It is a written contest consisting of 10 questions, some requiring full solutions, and designed to test advanced problem-solving skills.
Participants:
The Euclid math contest is primarily intended for senior high school students, especially those in their final year preparing for university studies in mathematics. However, all high school students, and even adults, are welcomed to participate the Euclid math contest.
History:
The Euclid Contest has been offered annually for decades and is recognized internationally as a challenging and prestigious mathematics competition. It helps students prepare for university-level mathematics.
